A unique perspective of the Takakkaw Falls high above on the Iceline Trail at Yoho. You can see the glacier and icefield feeding this big fall, a site you can't see from below.
The view of the Yoho Valley, covered in clouds, along the Iceline. Rain threatened all day but never fell during the six hour hike.
For four miles you are hiking beside big glaciers. Cool.
And high green-blue alpine watering holes.
The final descent to the Little Yoho valley. The geology of this Yoho park is supernatural and deserving of another good-weather, clear-skies visit.
The hike concluded with a pleasant but boring forest walk downhill past some waterfalls. I made quick time back then relaxed at the camp reading and watching the trains go by. Ohh, trains.
